This redesigned classic is based on 30 years of experience both playing banjos and marketing them. The manufacturer went back to basics--an integrated, composite rim with a standard 11-inch diameter and 24 brackets. A heavy-duty tension hoop is included instead of the flimsy rolled sheet metal that have become customary.
The no-know tailpiece with an original patent date of 1901 remains one of the most elegant and simple of tailpiece alternatives available. For the armrest, this banjo sports the Vega design from the early 1900s. The neck has been completely redesigned based on the classic instruments of the 1930s.
