PS2 - Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run
The mission-based driving series SPY HUNTER moves to the big screen with a film inspired by the franchise, and Midway?s SPY HUNTER: NOWHERE TO RUN is being released along with the movie. The PS2 game is based on the movie?s plot and includes some new changes to the series, such as the ability to get out of the Interceptor and fight on foot. The NOSTRA organization, an evil group bent on world domination, is back, and only super spy Alex Decker can stop them. NOSTRA is plotting to steal all of the world?s most powerful technology, including Decker?s Interceptor, his spy vehicle that can change from car to jet ski to helicopter. While the vehicle still features in almost every level and is the focus of the game, players can now get out of the Interceptor and fight in some hand-to-hand action levels. For those levels where Alex is on foot, the agent has a large number of different weapons and some very powerful bare-handed attacks. He can body slam enemies, head butt them, and perform some impressive spinning attacks that will leave his foes out cold. The Interceptor also has some new abilities. It can change into an armored boat and a motorcycle, and players will be able to get out of the vehicle at will on some levels.
