Minimum System Requirements: Macintosh OS 8.1 or later; built for Mac OS X, G3 processor or faster, CD-ROM drive, 850 MB hard disk space (1 GB recommended). Apple Loops are created primarily for Apples GarageBand and Logic (Pro and Express) and are also compatible with Soundtrack. Additionally Apple Loops can also be treated simply as AIFF files and be loaded into any software on any platform that supports this basic file format.
