Xbox - Winback 2: Project Poseidon
Koei?s WINBACK: Covert Operations gave players control of a group of covert operatives with a number of different missions. Now, a new Winback assault team has been trained to take on a new series of tasks in WINBACK 2: PROJECT POSEIDON for the Xbox. With more of a focus on action instead of stealth, which featured heavily in the first game, Project Poseidon has more of a squad shooter feel to it. Players have control of the three different members of the Winback assault team, which is lead by young Craig Contrell. Though young, all three members are veteran special ops members and are qualified in six different weapons and combat. Each character has his or her own unique skills, including sharp shooting, target identification, explosives, and more. The operatives will have a variety of different weapons to find and use, as well, including a powerful sniper rifle. They will need all of their skills and weapons to stop Project Poseidon, a doomsday device with the potential to destroy the world. The game includes over 30 different missions that will take players around the globe as they battle the terrorist organization behind Project Poseidon. One of the new additions to WINBACK 2 is the route system, which allows players to witness each mission from the prospective of each Winback team member. This adds to the storyline and character development, which combine to create a great game in WINBACK 2: PROJECT POSEIDON.
